LOVE LETTERS TO MY BLACK SON

Who did this? Who infiltrated my camp and changed my perfect plan? I think Allah has forgiven me now, but I was mad at a lot of people for at least a year.  I hated Kanye for being from Chicago and inspiring people.  I hated Jay Z for making it look so easy and cool. I hated Nas and Public Enemy for being so conscious and most of all, I disliked every little fast-behind girl that walked up to us and asked, in that squeaky voice, “Ain’t you in Nu World?”
